Argosy Collegiate Charter School District sees 4.5% decrease in graduation rates over 2022-23 school year

Argosy Collegiate Charter School District had a 74.5% graduation rate during the 2022-23 school year, 4.5% lower than the previous school year, according to the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.

There were 41 students who graduated in the 2022-23 school year, compared to 49 the year before.

Argosy Collegiate Charter School District and Fall River Public Schools District had the 15th lowest graduation rate in the state.

In 2024, public schools in Massachusetts boasted a graduation rate of 90%, according to Public School Review.

However, younger students' proficiency is still lagging behind pre-pandemic levels. NAEP results show that in 2022, less than 47% of the students were considered proficient in math and reading, with eighth-graders performing the worst, reaching only 35% proficiency in math.
