Somerset Berkley Regional School District: 95.4% of students graduated in 2022-23 school year

Somerset Berkley Regional School District had a 95.4% graduation rate during the 2022-23 school year, 1.5% higher than the previous school year, according to the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.

There were 226 students who graduated in the 2022-23 school year, compared to 229 the year before.

In the state, there were four districts with the 61st highest graduation rate of 95.4%.

Somerset Berkley Regional School District roughly covers schools within Bristol County and has a main office in Somerset.

In 2024, public schools in Massachusetts boasted a graduation rate of 90%, according to Public School Review.

However, younger students' proficiency is still lagging behind pre-pandemic levels. NAEP results show that in 2022, less than 47% of the students were considered proficient in math and reading, with eighth-graders performing the worst, reaching only 35% proficiency in math.
