Did Attleboro Public Schools District’s graduation rate rise or fall in 2022-23 school year?

Attleboro Public Schools District had a 90.8% graduation rate during the 2022-23 school year, 2.6% lower than the previous school year, according to the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.

There were 425 students who graduated in the 2022-23 school year, compared to 452 the year before.

Attleboro Public Schools District and Medford Public Schools District had the 68th lowest graduation rate in the state.

In 2024, public schools in Massachusetts boasted a graduation rate of 90%, according to Public School Review.

However, younger students' proficiency is still lagging behind pre-pandemic levels. NAEP results show that in 2022, less than 47% of the students were considered proficient in math and reading, with eighth-graders performing the worst, reaching only 35% proficiency in math.
