Graduation Analysis: 2.5% fewer students graduated from Dartmouth Public Schools District in 2022-23 school year

Dartmouth Public Schools District had a 92.4% graduation rate during the 2022-23 school year, 2.5% lower than the previous school year, according to the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.

There were 230 students who graduated in the 2022-23 school year, compared to 263 the year before.

Dartmouth Public Schools District, Frontier Regional School District, and Franklin County Regional Vocational Technical School District had the 85th lowest graduation rate in the state.

Dartmouth Public Schools District roughly covers schools within Bristol County and has a main office in Dartmouth.

In 2024, public schools in Massachusetts boasted a graduation rate of 90%, according to Public School Review.

However, younger students' proficiency is still lagging behind pre-pandemic levels. NAEP results show that in 2022, less than 47% of the students were considered proficient in math and reading, with eighth-graders performing the worst, reaching only 35% proficiency in math.
