The ratio of students to teachers in Greater Fall River Regional Vocational Technical School District fell by 5.2% in the 2021-22 school year, according to the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.

There were 1,421 students being taught by 128.8 teachers in Greater Fall River Regional Vocational Technical School District, which covers schools within Bristol County and has a main office in Fall River. That's an average of 11 students per teacher in the district during the 2021-22 school year.

In the previous year, Greater Fall River Regional Vocational Technical School District had 1,452 students and 125.2 teachers on staff.

Massachusetts was ranked as the eighth best state for teachers, according to a WalletHub study.

Despite the shortage, under-representation of ethnicities among teachers was found to be a concern. The Rennie Center reported that only nine percent of teachers are people of color.
