Walker Zampella, a former Attleboro High School standout, helped lead his current college team, the East Stroudsburg Warriors, to a 5-4 win over the Millersville Marauders in an NCAA Division II baseball game played Saturday, March 21, at 3:30 p.m.
Creekview Park served as the venue for the contest, which marked the fourth meeting between East Stroudsburg and Millersville this season. The season series remains even between the two teams.
Zampella’s stat line included a hit in four at-bats, with one run scored, one RBI and one strikeout.
The Warriors have their next matchup set for Friday, March 27, against the West Chester Golden Rams at Creekview Park.
