On Tuesday, Feb. 25, former Taunton High School standout Dawson Bryce’s current college team, the Charlotte 49ers, won 8-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Longwood Lancers.

The game took place at Hayes Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Lancers this season.

The 49ers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 28 at 3 p.m. at Baum-Walker Stadium against Arkansas Razorbacks.
