(FALL RIVER, MA- June 22, 2023)- Mayor Coogan and the City of Fall River are pleased to announce the schedule for the Fourth of July celebration along the City’s waterfront for the evening of Tuesday, July 4th, 2023. This celebration is generously sponsored by BayCoast Bank.
The fireworks over the Taunton River will begin at 9:00pm.
Prior to the fireworks display, there will be music and food trucks at the Senator Thomas Norton City Pier, Heritage State Park, and Veteran’s Memorial Bicentennial Park.
Activities will start at 5PM at the following locations:

There will be a sunset concert with the 215th Army band performing patriotic classics. There will also be the 101st FA gun salute.
The performance will run from 7pm-9pm in front of the Iwo Jima Monument.

The following morning, Wednesday, July 5th, the Mayor’s Office will lead a volunteer clean-up around the waterfront. Anyone who wants to volunteer should meet outside the Heritage Park Visitors Center at 8am where tools and supplies will be available.
