The Wheaton College (Mass.) artistic swimming team placed sixth at the United States Collegiate Championship hosted by USA Artistic Swimming at the FMC Natatorium in Westmont, Ill. The Lyons were bolstered by first year Marina Greenwood (Davis, Calif.), who won the national championship in the Technical Competition for 'D' Figures.

Greenwood posted a score of 56.9356 outscore all competitors in the field.

The Ohio State University won national championship for the second straight year after scoring 95 points with Stanford University placing second with 92 points. The Lyons scored 48 points. Ohio State sophomore Ruby Remati was the meet's top individual scorer with 68 points.

Wheaton senior Sydney McClaren (Williamsville, N.Y.) tallied a score of 65.0144 points in the 'C' figures to finish fourth, while Astrid Ericson of University of Florida Synchronized Swimming won portion of the meet with 65.5016 points.

Sophomore Hannah Vered Halberg (New York, N.Y.) turned in a career-best score of 68.3946 to finish 17th in the 'B' figures for the Lyons. Junior Erandi Aguirre Miranda (Mexico City, Mexico) of University of the Incarnate Word recorded the top score with 73.6871 points.

Senior Kelsey Dolack (Mooresville, N.C.) placed 44th in the 'A' figures with a score of 63.4560 for Wheaton. Ohio State's Remati racked up 83.1950 points to take the individual title.

Dolack and McClaren finished ninth in the Duet competition for the Lyons after scoring a season-best total of 71.0667 points. Remati and sophomore Emily Armstrong (Toronto, Ont.) took home the title for Ohio State with a tally of 84.6333 points.

Dolack, McClaren, Halberg and Greenwood combined to score a season-best mark of 68.4333 to finish 10th in the Team routine. Stanford claimed the top score in the event with 85.6000 points behind first year Miko Begossi (Alamo, Calif.), first year Ivy Davis (Scottsdale, Ariz.), first year Yara Elian (Walnut Creek, Calif.), sophomore Nicole Goot (Los Gatos, Calif.), senior Hailee Heinrich (Los Gatos, Calif.), senior Ava Jih-Schiff (San Ramon, Calif.), senior Audrey Nguyen (San Jose, Calif.) and junior Emmanuella Tchakmakjian (Moraga, Calif.).
