Co-Offensive Player of the Week
Gavin Admirand (Marshfield, Mass.) - Senior - Attack - UMass Boston
Admirand earned a share of this week’s Offensive Player of the Week awards after totaling nine goals and seven assists for 16 points in a 2-0 week for the Beacons. He opened the week scoring five goals with four assists in a 23-11 win over FDU-Florham before tallying four goals, three assists and four ground balls in a 27-9 victory over Lake Forest.
Nick James (Portland, Maine) - Senior - Attack - Southern Maine
James earned a share of this week’s Offensive Player of the Week awards after totaling 10 goals and six assists for 16 points in a 2-0 week for the Huskies. He scored six goals with four assists in a 12-9 win over Norwich before tallying four goals with two assists in a 20-14 win over Husson. He became the program’s career leader in points with his 10-point performance against the Cadets.
Defensive Player of the Week
Marc Hirshom (East Walpole, Mass.) - Junior - Defense - Plymouth State
Hirshom was named the LEC Defensive Player of the Week after totaling four caused turnovers and five ground balls in the Panthers’ 9-5 win over SUNY Plattsburgh, which was their lone game of the week. The five goals allowed matches the fewest allowed in a game by Plymouth State this season.
Goalie of the Week
Owen McNichols (Manchester, N.H.) - Junior - Plymouth State
McNichols was named the LEC Goalie of the Week after notching a career-high 17 saves in the Panthers 9-5 victory over SUNY Plattsburg Thursday. He totaled 13 of those stops in the second half, eight of which were in the fourth quarter.
Rookie of the Week
Tristan McMahon (Farmingville, N.Y.) - Freshman - Midfield - Western Connecticut
McMahon was named the LEC Rookie of the Week after accounting for a critical goal in the Wolves’ 11-10 triumph over North Central. His tally was part of an eight-goal surge that gave WestConn the lead for good in the game after falling behind 5-1.
