Eastern Connecticut Softball Ranked 17th in NFCA Coaches’ Poll | https://littleeast.com/
The Eastern Connecticut State University softball team is ranked 17th the latest version of the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Division III Coaches’ Poll, it was announced Tuesday.
The Warriors are 2-2 to start the 2023 season. The opened the year splitting a doubleheader with Concordia (Texas), taking game-one 3-2 before falling in game-two, 10-5. Eastern then took game-one from SUNY Oneonta by a count of 3-1 before getting edged in the nightcap by the Red Dragons, 2-1.
The Warriors have three more doubleheaders on tap to close out their Texas trip, starting with Wednesday’s action against Centenary (La.). They will then battle Mary Hardin-Baylor Thursday before capping their southern swing against No. 8 East Texas Baptist Friday.
