Player of the Week
 
Andrew Bryant (Canton, Mass.) - Senior - First Base - UMass Dartmouth
Bryant was named the LEC Player of the Week after helping lead the Corsairs to a sweep of WPI Sunday in their first two games of the 2023 campaign. He batted .625 (5-for-8) and slugged 1,250 with two doubles, one homer, three runs scored and four RBI. He went 4-for-5 with a pair of doubles at the plate in game-two’s 12-0 rout of the Engineers, driving in three runs and scoring two others. He was 1-for-3 with a walk and a solo home run in the third inning of UMass Dartmouth’s 9-8 game-one triumph.
 
Pitcher of the Week
 
Riley Orr (Queensbury, N.Y.) - Senior - Starting Pitcher - Castleton
Orr was named the LEC Pitcher of the Week after allowing one hit and one walk while notching five strikeouts over six innings of work in the Spartans’ 2-1 game-one victory at Stockton Sunday.
 
Rookie of the Week
 
Brett Baker (Chelmsford, Mass.) - Freshman - Center Field - UMass Dartmouth
Baker was named the LEC Rookie of the Week after batting .375 (3-for-8) with a triple, two runs scored and three runs batted as the leadoff hitter in his collegiate debut for the Corsairs, helping them sweep WPI to kick off the season. He was a 2-for-5 with a triple, two runs scored and one RBI in the 12-0 game-two victory after going 1-for-3 with a walk and two RBI in UMass Dartmouth’s one-run win in the opener.
