The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth field hockey team fell, 8-3, at home vs Keene State, on Monday.
The Corsairs are now 2-11 and 0-8 in the Little East Conference (LEC), while Keene State improves to 8-7 and 7-1 in the conference.
Keene State scored four times in the first half, including two from their leading scorer Irini Stefanakos. Sophomore Jenna Carvalho added a goal herself for the Corsairs, and UMass Dartmouth trailed 4-1 at the half.
In the second half, Keene State outscored the Corsairs 4-2, with Corsairs goals being scored by Junior Maggie McCafferty and sophomore Harley Hodge. Hodge contributed one goal and one assist throughout the game.
UMass Dartmouth is home on Wednesday for a 7 p.m. start against Bridgewater State.
