The Stonehill women’s track and field team placed third at the 2026 Outdoor Track & Field Championships, which concluded on May 2 in New Britain, Connecticut.
The team’s performance was highlighted by several individual and relay achievements. Junior Morgan Correia won the pole vault with a mark of 3.45 meters. Madison Stott, also a junior, earned silver in the 400 meters with a time of 57.85 seconds. Senior Jordan Malloy finished third in the 800 meters, clocking in at 2:18.53.
In relay events, the Skyhawks’ 4×400 meter team—comprised of Grace Tyrrell, Aneka Andrews, Abigail Haeusgen, and Madison Stott—secured bronze with a time of 3:58.45. The team’s other notable performances included sophomore Mallory Hildreth finishing fourth in the 3000-meter steeplechase (11:09.77), and the Skyhawks’ 4×100 meter squad placing fifth (48.90).
Seniors Emily Young and Jordan Malloy took fourth and fifth place respectively in the 1500 meters with times just under four minutes and forty-four seconds each; Young also finished fifth in the 5000 meters (17:42.51). Additional medals were awarded to Hannah Santos for high jump (bronze) with a height of 1.56 meters, as well as to Mallory Hildreth, Sydney O’Donnell, Iasmim DeSousa-Vieira, and Emmy Belvin for their performance in the bronze-medal-winning 4×800 meter relay (9:24.09).
Looking ahead, Stonehill is scheduled to compete again on May 8 at the New England Outdoor Championship held at W.B. Mason Stadium.
