The Stonehill women’s track and field team completed day two of the NEICAAA Outdoor Championships at W.B. Mason Stadium on May 9.
The event marked the conclusion of a two-day competition, where several Stonehill athletes achieved top placements in their respective events.
Senior Jordan Malloy finished fourth in the 1500 meter run with a time of 4:37.30. Sophomore Mallory Hildreth and junior Iasmim DeSousa-Vieira also secured spots in the top ten for the same event, finishing with times of 4:41.05 and 4:49.51, respectively. Senior Grace Tyrrell placed fifth in the 400 hurdles, recording a time of 1:03.94.
Both relay teams earned second place finishes; the Skyhawks’ 4×800 relay squad posted a time of 9:30.61 while the 4×400 relay squad completed their race in 4:00.31. In field events, sophomore Hannah Santos reached the podium in high jump with a mark of 1.57 meters, freshman Evangeline Emerson took sixth place in shot put at 12.36 meters, and sophomore Samantha Gaudet finished ninth in discus with a throw measuring 35.40 meters.
These results reflect strong performances across multiple disciplines as Stonehill concluded its participation at this year’s NEICAAA Outdoor Championships.
