Raynham sees $139,315 in Medicaid payments for ambulance and other transport services in 2024

Raynham Medicaid providers billed a total of $139,315 in 2024 for services grouped under Ambulance and Other Transport Services and Supplies, according to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Medicaid Provider Spending database. That amount reflects an 11.4% rise from 2023, when providers filed $125,043 in claims for these services.

Medicaid, a state-administered public health insurance program jointly funded by federal and state governments, covers low-income individuals and families, seniors, children and people with disabilities. It remains one of the most substantial segments of U.S. health care.

Since Medicaid funding is taxpayer-supported, fluctuations in local billing highlight how community health care resources are distributed.
