On Saturday, April 19, former Taunton High School standout Ava Venturelli’s current college team, the Louisville Cardinals, lost 6-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Virginia Cavaliers.
The game took place at Palmer Park. This was their third matchup against the Cavaliers this season.
The Cardinals’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 22 at 5 p.m. at Ulmer Stadium against Western Kentucky Lady Toppers.
