On Friday, Feb. 28, former Taunton High School standout Ava Venturelli’s current college team, the Louisville Cardinals, won 8-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Longwood Lancers.

The game took place at Ulmer Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Lancers this season.

The Cardinals’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 28 at 5:30 p.m. at Ulmer Stadium against Longwood Lancers.
