Senior Julie Holte has been named to the All-Northeast Conference (NEC) First Team in both singles and doubles, while her teammate Madison Warren also earned a spot on the First Team for doubles, according to a May 1 announcement.
The recognition highlights Holte’s consistent performance throughout her collegiate career. She previously received All-NEC Rookie Team honors as a freshman, followed by Second Team selection as a sophomore, before achieving First Team status as a senior.
Holte played at the No. 1 singles position for most of the season and finished with an overall record of 6-5. In NEC matches, she recorded five wins and one loss in singles play and six wins with only one loss in doubles competition, ending conference action with an overall mark of 11-2 against NEC opponents.
In doubles play, Holte partnered with Warren at the No. 1 spot for Stonehill Skyhawks Women’s Tennis. The pair completed their season together with a record of six wins and two losses after recovering from an initial two-match losing streak to win their final six matches.
Warren contributed three victories in singles during the season alongside her achievements in doubles play with Holte.
