On Thursday, May 15, former Staunton High School standout Hayley Krockta’s current collegiate team the UMass Boston Beacons lost 1-3 against the Texas Lutheran Bulldogs in the NCAA Division III Softball Championship.

The game took place at Kostrinsky Field at 11 a.m. and was the first matchup against the Texas Lutheran Bulldogs in the tournament.

The UMass Boston Beacons’ next game will take place on Friday, May 16 at 2:30 p.m. at Kostrinsky Field.
