On Friday, May 16, former Staunton High School standout Hayley Krockta’s current collegiate team the UMass Boston Beacons won 4-2 against the Springfield Pride in the NCAA Division III Softball Championship.

The game took place at Kostrinsky Field at 2:30 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Springfield Pride in the tournament.

The UMass Boston Beacons’ next game will take place on Friday, May 16 at 5:10 p.m. at Kostrinsky Field.
