Four members of the Stonehill College women’s tennis team were named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, the organization announced on May 12.

The recognition highlights student-athletes who have excelled both academically and athletically. Earning this distinction were seniors Anneliese Beltran, Julie Holte, Madison Warren, and sophomore Arya Chabria.

Beltran received CSC Academic All-District honors for the second time in her collegiate career. Holte, Warren, and Chabria each earned the recognition for the first time. On the court, Holte and Warren led the Skyhawks throughout the season and earned All-NEC First Team honors. Chabria was recognized twice as an NEC Prime Performer during the year.

To qualify for CSC Academic All-District recognition, student-athletes must compete in at least 70 percent of their team’s scoring matches while maintaining a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher.

The announcement underscores Stonehill’s commitment to supporting both academic achievement and athletic performance among its student-athletes.
