At 3 p.m. on Wednesday, April 8, the Dayton Flyers, featuring former Taunton High School standout Danny MacDougall, earned a 9-5 victory over the Toledo Rockets in NCAA Division I baseball action.
Scott Park Baseball Complex hosted the matchup, marking the second meeting between the teams this season. Dayton previously topped Toledo 18-8 in their Wednesday, Feb. 25 game.
MacDougall finished with one hit out of three at-bats, drew a walk and struck out once.
The Flyers are set to play their next game Friday, April 10, against the Saint Joseph’s Hawks at Woerner Field.
