Dayton Flyers defeat Toledo Rockets 9-5 with Ryan MacDougall contributing

On Wednesday, April 8, at 3 p.m., former Taunton High School standout Ryan MacDougall helped the Dayton Flyers earn a 9-5 win against the Toledo Rockets in NCAA Division I baseball.

The matchup took place at Scott Park Baseball Complex and was the second meeting between the teams this season. In their prior contest on Wednesday, Feb. 25, the Flyers emerged victorious 18-8.

MacDougall tallied two hits over five at-bats, scoring once and recording one strikeout.

The Flyers are set to face the Saint Joseph’s Hawks next on Friday, April 10, at Woerner Field.
