Dayton Flyers baseball team falls to Miami RedHawks; Taunton alum Danny MacDougall records two hits

The Dayton Flyers, led by former Taunton High School standout Danny MacDougall, were defeated 14-4 by the Miami RedHawks in their NCAA Division I baseball contest at 3 p.m. Tuesday, March 24.

The game took place at Woerner Field and marked the Flyers’ second meeting with the RedHawks this season. Dayton previously lost to Miami 13-7 on Wednesday, March 18.

MacDougall contributed two hits from four at-bats, scored once, struck out once, and stranded a runner on base.

The Flyers are set to face the Davidson Wildcats at Wilson Field on Friday, March 27, in their next game.
