The City of Attleboro announced on April 16 that its annual Spring Fling event will take place this Saturday in downtown Attleboro from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The community is invited to Balfour Park for a range of free activities.
The event aims to bring residents together to celebrate the arrival of warmer weather and the vibrant colors of spring. Organizers say the day will feature an Earth Day celebration with the Rubbish and Recycling Department, where attendees can learn more about recycling, purchase rainwater barrels, and drop off used textiles for collection by Helpsy after the event concludes.
Other planned activities include free face painting, pottery painting, flower crafts, and interactive sessions with local community partners. The city said all activities are designed to be family-friendly and encourage participation from people of all ages.
According to organizers, “We hope to see you there!”
The Spring Fling has become a recurring opportunity for residents to engage with environmental initiatives while enjoying seasonal festivities. City officials expect strong turnout based on previous years’ attendance.
Residents interested in participating are encouraged to visit Balfour Park during event hours.
